One in three students with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF) who started upper secondary school dropped out. The Parents' Network for the Right to Education is calling for more support for these students.
"It's so crazy that you're condemned to exclusion. That's actually what it's about when you have a diagnosis," says the network's chairman, Christian Wettergren, to Aftonbladet.
Of those with NPF, 58 percent never graduated from upper secondary school, compared with 24 percent among others. The figures were produced by the network, which asked the National Board of Health and Welfare to coordinate statistics from the National Agency for Education with patient registers.
