Liam Öhgren, 22, opened the scoring in the first period. Then the gold medalists from this winter's JVM took over.

Jack Berglund, 20, Viggo Björck, 18, and Anton Frondell, 18, each scored a goal, and 19-year-old Sascha Boumedienne scored two goals.

The 7–0 goal came from the slightly more experienced Axel Andersson, 26, assisted by 18-year-old JVM player Ivar Stenberg. After a Swiss reduction, Stenberg also got his name on the scoresheet when he made it 8–1.

The young players have thus made national team captain Sam Hallam's job a little more difficult ahead of the World Cup in Switzerland in May.

"That's why you're here, you want to be in the World Cup," Boumedienne told SVT.

Tre Kronor will face the Czech Republic and Finland this weekend, before it's time for the Beijer Hockey Games in Ängelholm May 7–10.
