Believing he had arranged to meet a woman, a man from Halland traveled to Blekinge. When he arrived, he was beaten, pressured for money, and forced to give the perpetrators a ride to his home, where he was pressured for more money and had his car stolen, reports BLT .

Just a few days after the incident in May 2023, another man was tricked into meeting a woman in Blekinge. He was beaten and called a pedophile and he too was forced to drive the perpetrators around and pressured for money. According to the indictment, the man was approached several times and his son was also allegedly abducted.
