Marlon James (winner 2015) and Douglas Stuart (2020) can join the small group of four authors who have won two Booker Prizes, one of the most prestigious awards in the literary world.
The two are nominated for the novels "The Disappearers" and "John and John" respectively and are now up against M John Harrison's "The End of Everything", Luke Kennard's "Black Bag", Rebecca Perry's "May We Feed the King" and Elizabeth Strout's "The Things We Never Say".
The award will be announced on November 9.
Last year's winner was British-Hungarian author David Szalay for the novel "Meat".
