Five of those arrested are Polish and the sixth is Russian, Tomasz Siemoniak, Poland’s intelligence coordinator, announced on social media.
The group is suspected of supplying the Russian military with items for military use, including in the production of weapons and ammunition, the Polish security service ABW announced.
According to Siemoniak, nearly 100 people have been charged with crimes in ABW’s espionage or sabotage investigations since 2024.
