"When I was asked, I was very happy because I like fairy tales and stories, whether they are for adults or children," says Niklas Strömstedt in a press release.
This is the fifth year Barnradion has arranged holiday readings by artists and other well-known people.
Others reading fairy tales include Ellen Krauss ("John Blund"), Scarlet ("The Little Mermaid") and Johan Rensfeldt from Movits ("Thumbelina").
All episodes will be released on Monday in the Swedish Radio app. On P4, one fairy tale will be broadcast each day, with Siw Malmkvist as the first narrator.
