Siw Malmkvist was on site at Cirkus in Stockholm to receive tributes during the gala.
"I'm speechless, this is just too much. I can't cry, and what can I say, who voted for me?" the two-time winner said in her second acceptance speech of the evening, according to QX .
Missing, however, was Zara Larsson, whose song "Midnight Sun" was named song of the year. A small revenge for the artist who missed out on an award at the Grammys on Monday night - but who didn't make it back to Sweden from the USA.
The LGBTQI Award of the Year went to Edvin Törnblom, who, among many other things, hosted Melodifestivalen in 2025.
"I know I take up a lot of space, I'm seen in a lot of places and I'm heard a lot. But I want to open up so that more people can get in, so I don't want to get fired from any of my programs or anything, but it would be fun with a little lesbian, a little trans," he said in his acceptance speech, according to QX.
Elektra, who participated in the intermission in this weekend's semi-final, was awarded Act of the Year and - not entirely unexpectedly - the award for Best Television of the Year went to Melodifestivalen.
