Actor Sissela Kyle will receive the Gustav Hjäler Scholarship 2025. The prize, 75 kronor and a coffee pot, is awarded in memory of comedian Kalle Sändare, who became known for his humorous prank calls in the 1960s.
The jury believes Sissela Kyle "moves freely and without boundaries between humor and seriousness" and has a jazz musician's sense of feeling, phrasing and timing.
The scholarship is awarded by the Kalle Sändare Society and the Pig and Skating Association, and has previously been awarded to Maria Lundqvist and Henrik Dorsin, among others.
