Helen Sjöholm and Gunilla Backman play the leading roles in the newly written, upcoming musical "Someone Has to Do It". Sissela Kyle directs based on a script by author and psychologist Per Naroskin, who is also her partner.
The performance, described as an "intimate pocket musical", is about two mismatched women who are tasked with creating order in chaos in an old library, and an unexpected friendship emerges. Parallel to the plot, they perform songs by some of Sweden's foremost musicians.
"Someone Has to Do It" premieres in Gothenburg this fall and then embarks on a Sweden tour.
