There was no shortage of clear scoring chances for both teams. However, no goals were scored during regular time between Sirius and IFK Göteborg.
90 minutes of goalless play meant the game went into extra time.
In extra time, Rockson Yeboah pulled down Isak Bjerkebo and referee Kristoffer Karlsson pointed to the penalty spot. Bjerkebo took the penalty himself and made it 1–0.
Incredibly nice. We had many chances and it just felt like we were going to win, Bjerkebo tells Expressen.
The blue-and-black team thus advances to the semi-finals, where they face Hammarby away next weekend.
In the second semi-final, Mjällby and Gais meet.
