Sirius came into the game without top scorer Robbie Ure, who was away with a foreign club. But there was nothing wrong with the home team's attack. After 23 minutes, both Victor Svensson and Isak Bjerkebo had scored one goal each.
The lead was short-lived, however. Before the match clock had passed 28 minutes, BP had both pulled one back and equalised.
"It shouldn't happen that the opponents score two goals against us at home within five minutes," said Sirius's Melker Heier to TV4 Play.
Despite a large advantage in possession for Sirius, there were no more goals and the match ended 2–2. Sirius now leads the Allsvenskan by twelve points ahead of second-place Hammarby.
In Monday's second Allsvenskan match, Västerås defeated Djurgården 1–0.
