Sirius sells its attacking star Yousef Salech to Cardiff in The Championship, the English second division.
The sale means a significant amount of money in the coffers. According to Aftonbladet, Cardiff pays around 46 million kronor for the 23-year-old Dane, while Sirius is content to note that it is a record transfer for the Uppsala club.
"Once again, a receipt that we are taking steps in the right direction and it also gives us very good conditions to continue developing and growing as a club", says the men's team manager Jonathan Ederström to Sirius' website.
Salech came to Sirius before last season and scored eleven goals and four assists in 27 Allsvenskan matches.
