Sirius tops the Swedish league after three rounds. They were good and strong, but that's not the point. It's the team machine, the fast passing game, the movement patterns. No wonder the home fans were rocking in the Studenten stands.
A crazy decision by referee Erik Mattsson gave an early boost on the way to a 4–1 victory against Västerås SK. Oscar Krusnell threw himself. There was no contact from Simon Gefvert. Gefvert was really angry, both at Krusnell and the referee.
"Oh my God. It's so terrible. He's running his own thing today, it seems," Gefvert says of Mattsson to TV4.
Bjerkebo stepped up and scored the penalty to make it 1–0. Another goal - the team's fourth of the season - also came from the penalty spot, after which Tobias Anker scored to make it 3–0 shortly before halftime after Sirius had won three straight duels in the penalty area.
The matter was settled, the job done.
