In 2016, Djokovic won 24 straight sets in Masters tournaments, the level below the Grand Slams.
Now Jannik Sinner has broken that record. After Monday's victory in the Miami Open against Corentin Moutet, the Italian has won 26 consecutive sets.
In the ATP tournament in Shanghai last October, Sinner lost one set to Tallon Griekspoor, and then had to retire from the match due to injury.
Since returning from injury, Sinner has been extremely strong and has not dropped a single set in a Masters tournament.
The 24-year-old recently won the Masters tournament in Indian Wells.
In tonight's round of 16 in Miami, Sinner will face Alex Michelsen.
