The damage was discovered near the Essinge Islands, heading towards Södertälje, on Wednesday afternoon.
Two lanes in the southbound direction towards Södertälje have been closed, which could lead to long queues, says Daniel Mossberg, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration.
The lanes will remain closed until 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
