A suspected sinkhole has caused disruptions to tram traffic in Gothenburg, reports among others SVT News. The hole, about 50 centimeters in size, has led to some tram traffic being diverted while the area is being investigated. The affected lines are 4, 7, 9, and 11.
Earlier in the morning, the Swedish Transport Administration also received information about the incident and train traffic was stopped for a short period.
It must have gotten a bit confusing about where the hole was. At first, we received information that it was by the train track, but it was by the tram track, says Daniel Mossberg, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration to SVT.
