The Allsvenskan midfield veteran is ready as an expert when TV4 takes over the broadcasting rights for Allsvenskan football.
"It is and has been a privilege to have worked in the Allsvenskan as a player. It has been a big part of my life and that I now have the chance to continue working with it, albeit in a different way, is incredibly inspiring and exciting. The Allsvenskan is the world's finest league," says Simon Thern in a press release.
Thern has won Swedish Championship gold with both Helsingborgs IF and Malmö FF and has been one of the most colorful players in the Swedish league for almost 15 years.
Thern will also be a columnist on TV4 Football Channel, where he will share his thoughts on the Swedish Premier League every week.
He will continue his career in parallel as a player in IFK Värnamo, going forward in the Super League.
