The decision has been made by the Swedish Public Health Agency.
"We have an outbreak that is serious, especially in the affected areas, but it is not possible to completely rule out individual imported cases," Minister of Social Affairs Jakob Forssmed (KD) told Ekot.
The ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda is considered a regional threat but not a global one. However, people with symptoms are urged to contact health care services.
