The online pharmacy company Apotea reports an operating profit of 52 million kronor for the fourth quarter. This can be compared to the profit of 34 million kronor for the same period last year.

Revenue increased simultaneously by 15.8 percent to approximately 1.7 billion kronor.

"The good growth in the fourth quarter was driven, as throughout 2024, by high demand for e-commerce of prescription drugs. The prescription-based part of our sales grew by 28 percent in the fourth quarter and in December, we set a new record with nearly 20,000 dispatched prescription orders in one day", writes the company's CEO Pär Svärdson in the annual report.

The board proposes no dividend to shareholders.

The quarterly report is the first since the company was listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange last November.
