We were alerted at 1:30 a.m. by residents in the area that someone was shooting at a villa. People were at home at the time, but no one was hit, says Daniel Wikdahl, a police spokesperson.
An unknown number of shots were fired at the house. The incident is being investigated as attempted murder and an aggravated weapons offense.
