Debris from what the country's Defense Ministry said was a Russian drone fell in eastern Romania overnight, the ministry said in a statement.
The drone is believed to have been shot down over Ukraine near the Romanian border. An outbuilding and an electricity pole in Galati near the Danube River were reportedly damaged, the statement said. No injuries were reported.
Drone parts were found in several locations in the area, and the Defense Ministry condemned Russia's actions.
Debris from downed drones has fallen on Romanian territory several times before.
