The shooter was caught on surveillance camera with what appears to be a rifle, according to the NTV news site. The person fled on foot but was later apprehended by security forces, local authorities in Manisa said.
A large contingent of police and ambulance personnel is on site. Several people are reported to have been taken to hospital, writes the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet.
