They were initially taken into custody and then social authorities were brought in, and now they will decide on the action, says the police's press spokesperson Katarina Rusin.
The police were alerted to the Söderkulla area in Malmö just after midnight after loud bangs were heard, and discovered an apartment that had several bullet holes through the window and damage to the facade, reports Skånska Dagbladet.
The police's rapid response unit entered the apartment to ensure that no one was injured, but no one was found in the residence and no injured person was found in the vicinity.
We are investigating whether there was an intention to harm someone who was believed to be at home, says Rusin.
