Things got heated in the match between Skellefteå and Färjestad. A serious fight is now having consequences. Two players are being punished by the disciplinary committee.

It was in connection with Skellefteå's 2-2 goal that the situation got out of control. Skellefteå's Max Krogdahl and Färjestad's Emil Alba got into a heated argument and came to blows in front of an open curtain.

The referees intervened after a while and handed out match penalties to both players. The incident was later reported to the disciplinary committee - which has now issued its verdict.

Both Krogdahl and Alba are suspended for two matches for fighting. The suspension applies to the period January 4–8 and is supplemented by a fine of 5,000 kronor each.

Skellefteå's Andreas Johnson was also subsequently found guilty of diving after aggravating the situation and was fined 5,000 kronor.

The match itself ended in a clear home victory. Skellefteå defeated Färjestad 6–2.
