Djurgården struck after just 46 seconds in the SHL, but Luleå turned things around to win 4-3 in Stockholm.

We get a hell of an energy from the crowd, who are absolutely fantastic again. It's sad not to be able to get the three points, says Djurgården's Daniel Brodin after the match.

It was Finnish Oula Palve who gave Djurgården the lead early at the Avicii Arena. It stayed 1-0 for a long time before Luleå equalized late in the first period through Otto Leskinen.

With four minutes left in the second period, Djurgården regained the lead through Brodin. It was the striker's first goal for the team this season; he had been on loan to Björklöven.

Of course it was fun when we scored, a nice feeling, but it's always more fun when you win, says Brodin.

40 seconds later, Joe Snively extended the lead to 3–1. However, Luleå was able to pull one back with 40 seconds left in the second period when Leskinen scored his second goal of the evening.

The equalizer then came in the third period through Jesper Sellgren, and with four minutes left Eetu Koivistoinen scored to make it 4–3 to Luleå, which was also the final score.

"I think we still had a decent match, but it's tough to lose at the end," says Brodin.

Just over two minutes into the match, the game between Djurgården and Luleå was interrupted. The reason was that a banner started burning in Djurgårdsklacken after the use of a pyrotechnic device.

The fire was extinguished after a few minutes and the match could quickly resume.
