Prior to the start of the Olympic Games season, the most successful skier of all time says that she is still not fully back. She is not sure if she will even get to participate in the super-G at the Olympic Games.
St. Moritz will be my chance to see where I stand, if it is even possible for me to qualify, she says.
Otherwise, she will completely focus on slalom and giant slalom. Downhill she will not drive at all.
Shiffrin was involved in a severe crash in giant slalom in American Killington in November last year. Last season was a bit of a fiasco for the American, who finished 16th in the overall World Cup.
She testified to severe mental problems after the crash and refrained from driving giant slalom until the World Cup competitions in Sestriere at the end of February.

The World Cup traditionally begins in Austrian Sölden this weekend.
