Shia LaBeouf, who has appeared in films such as “Transformers” and “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” was arrested after a brawl outside a bar during Mardi Gras weekend in February.
Later that month, a judge ordered the actor to return to rehab.
LaBeouf was sentenced to six months' probation with two years' supervised release. He will also undergo a treatment program.
"Mr. LaBeouf came to court today wanting to take responsibility for his part in what happened and he has," the actor's lawyer, Sarah Chervinsky, said in a statement.
