She comes closest from the role as Director-General at the Swedish Inspectorate of Social Insurance.
She will take up her position on 1 April and the appointment applies until 31 March 2031. Ighe succeeds Joakim Stymne.

The Government has appointed Eva-Lo Ighe as Director-General and Head of the Statistics Sweden (SCB), according to a press release.
