On Thursday, fuel retailers will lower the price of diesel by 1.05 kronor per liter. Gasoline will be 50 öre cheaper, according to the companies' price information for business customers, which can be seen as an indication of the price change for private motorists as well.
After the reduction, diesel for private customers will cost around 21 kronor, while gasoline will be listed at just over 18 kronor per liter.
On Thursday, the price of oil on the world market fell further, to below $100 a barrel, after reports that a peace solution between the United States and Iran was getting closer.
Before the war began on February 28, diesel cost around 17 kronor and gasoline cost 15 kronor.
