In November, a total of 21,016 new passenger cars were registered, which is 15 percent fewer than the same month a year ago.
"The decline in passenger cars in November is due to a continued weak economic situation, cautious customers, as well as delivery disruptions and changes in the product portfolio of certain brands," says Mattias Bergman, CEO of Mobility Sweden, in a press release.
However, for the period January to November, new car registrations have increased by 2 percent compared to last year.
For light trucks, there was a decline of 2 percent to 2,916 vehicles in November. Heavy trucks decreased by 12 percent to 418 vehicles.
