For the first time ever, Malmö FF and city rivals Rosengård clashed in a Malmö derby. And the interest was great. According to Sydsvenskan, over 8,000 tickets were sold before the match, and the queues snaked long outside.

The audience at Eleda Stadium was treated to emotions, drama, and dream goals.

Malmö FF's American new acquisition Izzy D'Aquila gave the home team the lead in the late stages of the first half, when she pressed in a well-balanced pass, signed by Nathalie Hoff Persson, from close range.

It's fantastic. There are so many people here, and you can feel that they have your back, says Hoff Persson in Aftonbladet's broadcast.

And it was clear that it was a derby. It crackled loudly on several occasions, and the emotions were on the surface.

Rosengård pushed for an equalizer, and in the 89th minute, it came. Jo-Anne Cronquist got her foot on the far post and, in a very elegant way, the 20-year-old managed to get her foot on it in a heel-like manner.

The match ended in a draw, and before the final round in the group, both teams stand on four points. The other two teams in the group, Växjö and Linköping, meet on Sunday and stand on zero points.
