The Colombian superstar will be on stage with artist Burna Boy when the World Cup kicks off on June 11 in Mexico City. “Dai Dai” is the official World Cup song and the performance will take place before the opening match between Mexico and South Africa.
Colombian reggaeton artist J Balvin and South African pop star Tyla will also perform at the opening.
“Dai Dai,” which is Italian and roughly means “come on, come on,” is Shakira’s second World Cup song. She had a huge hit with Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) in 2010.
