Several thousand people sign petition to stop planned museum closures in Stockholm

The Swedish Property Agency, SFV, wants to increase the rent for the Ethnographic Museum in Stockholm by 57 percent. As a result, the World Culture Museums plan to terminate the agreements and close the Mediterranean Museum and the East Asian Museum in Stockholm.

Now, more than 3,000 signatures have been collected in a petition to stop the planned closures, SR reports.
