The disaster, which occurred off Calais in November 2021, is the deadliest accident involving migrants trying to reach the UK from France.
The convicted men are described as human smugglers, and the French court ruled that the accident was caused by "individuals driven by greed, with complete disregard for human life."
Six of them received prison sentences of between six and ten years, while another seven men received sentences ranging from six months suspended to four years in prison.
