One person was killed and two injured in Taif in western Saudi Arabia by debris when drones from Yemen were shot down, the Saudi Civil Defense said.
In parallel, three children were killed in an attack by Saudi-backed government forces in the province of Taizz in southwestern Yemen, the Houthi-owned al-Masirah TV channel reported. Several people were also reportedly injured.
Recently, there has been an escalation between the Houthi movement and government forces in Yemen.
The Islamist Houthi movement said on Wednesday that a Saudi fighter jet had been shot down.
