It is known that another 17 people have been injured. At least 15 drones struck six different locations in the city, according to Terekhov.
Parts of the city's electricity and heating systems were damaged in the attack, as were three residential buildings, Ukrainian public service company Suspilne reported. According to the rescue services, the attack caused fires.
The attack takes place at the same time as Ukraine and the United States are holding talks about a possible peace plan for Ukraine in Geneva, Switzerland.
