Explosions have occurred in Dnipro and Kharkiv, among others. Targets in the town of Bila Tserkva just outside the capital Kyiv have also been hit, reports The Kyiv Independent.

At least four people have been found dead in Dnipro after Russian missile and drone strikes overnight. Another person was killed in an attack in the same residential area this morning, regional governor Oleksandr Hanzj said on the Telegram messaging service.

The Russian attacks on Dnipro hit a residential building, businesses and infrastructure, and more than 40 people have been reported injured, including children, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on X. Over 20 people are being treated in hospitals and the search for missing people continues.

"It is important that the world does not remain silent about what is happening and that this Russian war in Europe is not overshadowed by the war in Iran," the president writes on X.

Two people have been killed in the city of Nizhyn in the Chernihiv region, reports The Kyiv Independent.

Injuries are also reported from attacks in Odesa, Kherson and Kharkiv, local authorities say.

The governor of the Russian Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, says a woman has been killed and a man has been seriously injured in a Ukrainian drone attack.
