Several people have been injured in an explosion at a factory in Qatar on Sunday.
The exact number injured is not known but is described by local authorities as “several.” A journalist from the AFP news agency said they saw flames and columns of smoke from about 20 kilometers away.
The incident occurred in the Ras Laffan industrial area, which is a hub for liquefied natural gas. The explosion was reportedly caused by a “technical incident.”
