A severe collision occurred at 14 o'clock in the height of Bottnaryd in Småland, which led to the national road 40 being closed.
Two passenger cars collided at the intersection of national road 40 and national road 26. Four people have been taken to hospital by ambulance, one of them – a man in his 80s – with serious injuries, writes SVT Jönköping.

According to the police, eight people are involved in the accident. The people are from the Stockholm area and the surrounding area.
