A boat with 50 passengers on board that was moored in the port sank as a result of the landslide that took place in Iparía in the Amazon jungles, according to a police report cited by the Andina news agency.
In addition to the dead and missing, six people were injured and search operations were still ongoing on Monday evening Swedish time.
