The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Monday. The baby was later found in a room at a nearby hotel. Also in the room was a 37-year-old man who had been arrested on suspicion of unlawful detention.
The baby is reportedly doing well. She will be examined by a doctor on Tuesday, according to the father.
It is unclear what the man's motive may have been and whether he has any connection to the family.
