Seven World Cup debutants in Sweden's squad

Sweden's national team captain Linn Lundström has named her first World Cup squad for the women's national floorball team - and the squad has seven World Cup debutants.

"It feels like we've got a nice mix of new and experienced players. Some of the debutants have knocked on the World Cup door before," says national team captain Linn Lundström in a statement.

Two of the debutants are the defenders Matilda Lindgren, Rönnby, and Evelina Petersson, Kalmarsund.

In addition, Cajsa Alm, Thorengruppen, Linnea Hammar, Rönnby, and the Pixbo trio Ellen Lundin, Mira Markström and Emma Stenberg are making their world championship debuts.

Sweden's first match is on December 6 in the Czech Republic, against Finland. Sweden is the reigning champion.

Goalkeepers: Lovisa Hedin, Thorengruppen and Frida Görtz, Endre.
