Nine people - including eight police officers and a teenage girl - were killed in an Israeli attack on a police station in Gaza City, according to the Hamas-controlled health authority in the area.
In addition to the fatalities, at least 22 injured people were taken to Shifa Hospital.
In a separate attack on Nuseirat in the central Gaza Strip, one person was killed.
The Israeli military said in a statement on social media that it had carried out attacks targeting Hamas commanders in the Nuseirat area and in Gaza City.
