The attack targeted a residence outside the village of Ansar and, in addition to those killed, three people were injured, according to NNA.
The death toll is the highest in Lebanon from a single Israeli attack since late June, when a framework agreement to achieve long-term peace was signed by Israel and Lebanon. Despite the agreement, Israel has continued attacks on southern Lebanon.
In total, more than 4,300 people have been killed in Lebanon since March, when Israel launched extensive airstrikes followed by a ground invasion, after the Iran-backed Shiite militia Hezbollah fired rockets at Israel in response to the Israeli-American war against Iran.
