The police are investigating a serious violent crime in Hallsberg and a man has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
We received a call at 12:47 and at the scene, we could confirm that a crime has been committed and that a person needed care. The person is now taken to hospital and we have cordoned off the area, said the police's press spokesperson Olga Åkerblad to TT.
According to the police, the man was conscious when found.
After 5 pm, the cordons that were made in an area adjacent to Hallsberg central station were lifted.
No suspected person has been arrested.
