A man has been injured in a suspected workplace accident at Volvo's factory in Olofström during the night leading up to Friday. The man, who is in his 30s, is being treated for life-threatening injuries, according to Region Skåne.
This is a serious accident. He got crushed in connection with working with a machine, says police spokesperson Katarina Rusin.
The site is cordoned off and will be examined by forensic technicians.
We have been on site and spoken to potential witnesses and documented the site itself, says Rusin.
