University students have been a driving force in the nationwide protests and they believe that the support from the EU has not been sufficient.

The journey for the approximately 80 students goes through Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany before they reach France. Along the way, they plan to stay with Serbs living abroad and with other students.
