Clothing sales increased by 6.4 percent compared to last year and shoe sales rose by 6.1 percent. This month's figures mean that the fashion trade has shown a positive development for four months in a row.
"The fashion trade senses a light at the end of the tunnel. It is evident that we are dealing with a clear wallet effect", says Sofia Larsen, CEO of Swedish Trade, in a press release.
