The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Tuesday that it had awarded Morocco the victory, as Senegal was deemed to have abandoned the match when Senegal's players left the field for around 15 minutes during the final on January 18 in Rabat.
"The Senegalese Football Federation condemns the unjust, unprecedented and unacceptable decision," the federation said in a statement.
CAF's decision will be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the federation states.
