The Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has strongly criticized the arrangements for the African Cup of Nations final against hosts Morocco. The federation points to security shortcomings, unfair conditions and a ticket distribution that "punishes the audience."

In a statement, Senegal demands that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) "immediately take all corrective measures to guarantee respect for the principles of fair play, equal treatment and security."

According to the FSF, there was a "clear lack of adequate security measures" upon the team's arrival in Rabat, the final's host city, which "exposed players and management staff to congestion and risks."

The union also states that it was forced to file a formal complaint to obtain acceptable hotel accommodation.

The ticket distribution is also criticized. The allocation of 2,850 tickets to Senegal fans for the final is described as "punishing the Senegalese audience."

The FSF says the criticism is being made public "to defend the interests of the national team."
